Highgate 1 – basement conversion + kitchen design

Highgate 1 is a basement conversion project which includes kitchen design & build.

Mixing the dark colour palette with a classic style of the furniture was the objective of our recent black kitchen design project for a lovely property based in Highgate, North London.

Black kitchen designed by our team is the perfect combination of modern and classic by applying dark and graphite into shaker style furniture. This black kitchen space comprises of U-shaped kitchen area units, fitted units with integrated oven and microwave, island and dining area with table and chairs. Cabinets have been designed in shaker style with handles with some cabinet fronts to be glazed. Kitchen units are to be black and grey matt with an overhead profile, cornice up to the ceiling for a decorative effect. All appliances, to include oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher are fully integrated.

Workspace area is to be fitted with white and black marble worktops. White ceramic brick-effect tiles will work as a splashback.

Kitchen base has been also adapted for the Belfast sink unit. Open wine units have been designed as a part of the island as well as small console/table with shelves. Decorative pendant lights above the island create a focal point that divides the kitchen area from dining area.
